Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to public classes and events sold directly by FarmTable AI Lab. It does not govern custom consulting, private workshops, sponsored events sold by another organizer, or services covered by a signed agreement. Event-specific terms shown before purchase control if they are more favorable or address a circumstance not covered here.

Public class registration is not currently open. This policy will apply when a booking option is published and a registration is confirmed.

More than 48 hours before the start

You may cancel a seat for a refund to the original payment method or request one transfer to another published date of the same offering, subject to availability. The request must be received more than 48 hours before the event's scheduled start time.

A partial cancellation of a multi-seat purchase is refunded based on the amount attributable to the canceled seat, with order-level discounts and taxes allocated proportionally.

Within 48 hours

Standard refunds close 48 hours before the scheduled start because small classes have limited seats and late openings are difficult to refill. You may still contact us to request a transfer or credit. We consider illness, family emergencies, transportation disruption, and similar circumstances in good faith, but approval and the form of relief are discretionary unless law requires otherwise.

An approved credit is personal to the original purchaser or attendee, has no cash value, and must be used by the expiration date stated when it is issued.

Attendee substitutions

You may request to send another eligible attendee in your place until 24 hours before the start, unless the event description says otherwise. The replacement must satisfy any prerequisite, provide required registration information, and accept the applicable terms. A substitution does not change the purchaser of record.

No-shows and late arrival

A seat that goes unused without an approved cancellation, transfer, credit, or substitution is not refundable. Late arrival does not extend the event or create a right to a partial refund. Contact us if an emergency prevents attendance so we can document what happened and explain any available option.

Multi-session programs

For a cohort or series sold as one registration, the cancellation window is measured from the first scheduled session. After the program begins, missed sessions and withdrawals are not automatically refundable. If FarmTable offers recordings, make-up work, a transfer, or a credit, the option will be stated in the event details or confirmed in writing.

If FarmTable cancels or materially changes an event

If FarmTable cancels an event, the purchaser may choose a full refund or, when available, a free transfer. If we do not receive a choice by the deadline in our notice, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

If we materially change the date, start time, delivery format, or duration after booking, you may accept the change, transfer when an eligible option exists, or receive a refund. A substitute instructor, room adjustment within the stated location area, or reasonable agenda refinement is not normally a material change if the core experience remains substantially the same.

Weather, safety, and events outside our control

We may delay, move online, reschedule, or cancel when weather, utility failure, illness, venue access, government action, security, or another circumstance makes the planned format unsafe or impractical. We will communicate the decision as soon as reasonably possible. If the replacement date or format does not work for you, the material-change options above apply.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are submitted promptly to the original payment method. Banks and card networks control when the credit appears, which commonly takes 5 to 10 business days. We cannot redirect a card refund to a different card or person. If the original payment method is unavailable, contact us so the processor's permitted options can be reviewed.

How to make a request

Use the booking-management link in your confirmation when one is available, or email info@farmtable.ai with the purchaser name, event, attendee, and requested action. A request is effective when it is received by FarmTable or recorded by the registration system, not when it is drafted or sent to an incorrect address.
